Little Darlings Recruitment & Consulting is supporting nurseries across Cardiff, Penarth, Barry, Newport, Bridgend and the wider South Wales area. We are looking for caring, reliable and motivated Nursery Nurses / Early Years Practitioners to join supportive early-years settings.
About the Role
You will support children’s learning, development and wellbeing within a nursery team. Duties include:
- Creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment
- Supporting daily routines and children’s individual needs
- Following safeguarding and EYFS guidance
- Working collaboratively with staff and parents
- Contributing to planning, observations and high-quality practice
Roles available in baby room, toddler room, preschool and floating practitioner positions.
What We’re Looking For
- Level 2 plusEarly Years qualification (preferred)
- Experience in a nursery or childcare setting
- A genuine passion for working with children
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliability and professionalism
We welcome newly qualified practitioners, apprentices and experienced staff.

Skills
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood setting
- Strong communication skills to guide team members effectively
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childcare best practices
- Excellent communication skills in English to interact confidently with children, parents, and colleague.
- Valid driving license is advantageous for roles requiring travel between sites or family visits and advatage.
- Ability to remain energetic, positive, and proactive in a dynamic environment

Pay: £12.75-£30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10.0 – 50.0 per week
