Anglia Freight are looking to recruit an excellent candidate to perform the role of Warehouse Operator.
Hours of work will be: Monday to Friday, 7am – 5pm
Hourly rate: £12.85 per hour, mid-week overtime £13.80 per hour, weekend overtime £15.80 per hour.
Responsibilities to include:
- Picking and packing orders
- Safe devanning of containers and safe loading / unloading of other vehicles
- Goods in and location of pallets in the racking
- Dispatch
- Quality control checks
- Ensure that all freight moved on site is labelled correctly
- Regular stock takes
- Work within our strict Health and Safety policy at all times
- Warehouse health & safety checks (racking inspections, maintaining exceptional levels of housekeeping at all times)
- Completing all planned health and safety training
- Responding to emails
- Attending daily briefings with your team
- To liaise effectively with your line manager
Required Skills:
- Counterbalance Forklift Licence
- Flexi Forklift Licence (desirable)
- Good communication skills
- Ability to prioritise and execute on decisions made
- High level of accuracy
- Ability to pay close attention to detail
- Thorough task completer
- High levels of self-motivation and ability to work as a team
- Experience with operating forklifts in a warehouse/racked environment, particularly narrow aisles.
Desirable skills:
- Experience with IT systems
- Experience with warehouse management systems
