Job Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a creative and experienced Beauty Therapist to join our friendly and professional team at Beauty Room Cardiff in Whitchurch on a part-time basis (initially 2 days a week). The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience delivering beauty treatments and services within the industry and an NVQ Level 3 certificate in Beauty Therapy (or higher).
As a Beautician, you will be responsible for enhancing the appearance and confidence of our clients through various beauty services. In addition to providing high-quality manicure, pedicure, lash lift, and eyebrow treatments, you will specialize in body waxing, including advanced Hollywood hot wax treatments. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring that your clients leave feeling satisfied and rejuvenated. We would like the successful candidate to start as soon as possible.
Duties
- Provide high-quality manicures, pedicures, lash lifts, and eyebrow treatments.
- Perform professional body waxing treatments, including expert Hollywood hot wax application.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the salon or treatment area.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences, offering specialist advice on waxing aftercare.
- Build strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat visits and referrals.
- Stay updated on the latest beauty trends, waxing techniques, and products to provide informed recommendations.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 certificate in Beauty Therapy (or higher), with verified training/certification in advanced hot waxing techniques.
- At least 2 years of experience providing treatments to customers within the beauty industry.
- Proven experience and confidence in delivering body waxing and Hollywood hot wax treatments.
- Be able to provide manicure, pedicure, lash lift, and eyebrow treatments.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- A passion for the beauty industry and a desire to help clients look and feel their best.
- Ability to work well within a small team environment while also being comfortable working independently.
Pay: £13.30-£15.00 per hour
