Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various premises, ensuring a welcoming environment for clients and guests. Previous experience in hotel, hospitality, or janitorial services is highly desirable. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and private residences as required
- Change bed linen, make beds, and replenish supplies such as toiletries and towels
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all surfaces to maintain cleanliness standards
- Clean windows, mirrors, and fixtures to ensure a sparkling finish
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning tasks
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in an organised manner
- Adhere to company policies regarding confidentiality and guest privacy
- Monitor other domestic staff and ensure job roles are completed
- Suitable paperwork completed for compliance
- Laundry duties may need to be completed
Skills
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, hospitality, or janitorial services is preferred
- Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for cleanliness
- Excellent organisational skills to manage daily cleaning schedules efficiently
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good physical stamina and mobility to perform cleaning tasks effectively
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities
