The Queer Aesthetic creates safe, affirming, and empowering spaces for the LGBTQ+ community. Designed by us, for us, we curate immersive pop-up events that turn self-care & beauty rituals into a joyful celebration of our bodies, bringing everyone together in love, fun, connection, and total authenticity!
We warmly encourage applications from queer practitioners, beauty artists, and dedicated allies who have a strong connection to the LGBTQ+ community! We explicitly center and prioritize accessibility, disability awareness, trauma-informed care, and neurodiversity needs to make sure every single body feels truly seen, relaxed, and protected.
What Services We Are Looking For
We are looking for a vibrant mix of talented collaborators and partners to offer 15–20 minute taster sessions and rituals, including:
- Massage Therapy & Bodywork (Relaxing massages, reflexology, tension release)
- Facials & Skincare (Mini-facials, glowing skincare rituals)
- Makeup Consultations & Makeovers (Glam, natural, or expressive queer makeup)
- Tooth Gems & Adornments (Sparkly smile upgrades)
- Temporary Body Art & Expression (High-end Jagua gel, natural henna, airbrush flash, and press-on flash sheets)
- Hair, Barbering & Grooming (Hairstyling, hair consultations, sharp line-ups, beard tidying, butch brow shaping)
- Brows & Threading (Eyebrow threading, shaping, and tinting)
- Facial Hair Removal & Smooth Care (Affirming facial hair tidying and hair removal)
- Nail Art & Manicures (Express nails, detailed nail art)

How Our Practitioner Partnership Works
- Guaranteed Hourly Rate: You receive a flat, guaranteed hourly fee for your time and skills, so you never have to worry about unpaid downtime or filling sales quotas.
- Build Your Community Client Base: This is the ultimate platform to showcase your talents, meet incredible local clients, and build a loyal, long-term client base for your independent business.
- Quick Taster Sessions (15–20 Mins): Guests redeem their event entry tokens for quick 15–20 minute taster treatments at your station, making it effortless for people to try your work!
- We Handle All the Logistics: Zero venue stress for you! We take care of venue hire, modular privacy screens, ambient music, soft lighting, botanical styling, power access, and full social media marketing across our channels.
- Zero Payment Handling on the Day: Because guests use event tokens for their taster sessions, you focus purely on providing warm, affirming care during the event.

What You Bring
- Your own professional tools, equipment, and supplies (e.g., massage table, towels, ring lights, grooming supplies, or styling tools).
- Proof of valid professional insurance and relevant qualifications for your services.
- An open heart, a desire or willingness to learn about accessibility, consent, and neurodiversity needs, and alignment with our core values: Love, Fun, Connection, and Authenticity!
