An excellent opportunity is available for experienced individuals who are passionate about supporting others and looking for a new challenge.
We are looking for Personal Assistants / Support Workers to provide care and support to two adults with learning disabilities and epilepsy who are wheelchair users and reside in the Monk Bretton area.
The role involves providing 2:1 support, working as part of a small team of Personal Assistants. Duties include:
- Providing personal care and support
- Administering medication
- Preparing meals
- Housekeeping
- Supporting social activities and outings
- Driving a large mobility van when required
Key Information
There are two positions available. Further details regarding the positions and rota will be discussed at interview.
The role involves providing 24-hour support and operates on a four-week rolling rota. The rota may vary to cover absences due to illness and annual leave.
The rate of pay is £15.95 per hour.
A full manual driving licence is essential, as you will be required to drive a large mobility van.
Please note that you will be employed directly by the adults' family/families, who will act as your employer. You will also report to a senior carer.
We will arrange and cover the cost of your DBS check before you start.
