Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive international trade strategies aligned with organisational goals to expand market presence globally.
- Identify and establish relationships with potential international partners, distributors, and clients to facilitate market entry and growth.
- Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.
- Manage end-to-end sales processes using CRM software such as Salesforce, ensuring accurate tracking of leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including marketing, logistics, legal, and finance to ensure smooth execution of international operations.
- Monitor compliance with international trade laws, customs regulations, and export controls to mitigate risks.
- Organise participation in international trade fairs, exhibitions, and networking events to promote organisational offerings.
- Prepare detailed reports on market performance, sales forecasts, and strategic recommendations for senior management.
- Stay informed about geopolitical developments that could impact trade policies or market conditions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in international trade management or global market development roles.
- Strong proficiency with CRM software such as Salesforce; experience with other CRM tools is advantageous.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and export documentation requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse data effectively and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Relevant degree in Business Administration, International Relations, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a diverse team environment.
