Duties
- Safely operate delivery vans to transport parcels directly to designated lockERs and parcelshops within your assigned route
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule, adhering to company policies and safety regulations
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after each shift to maintain optimal safety standards
- Communicate clearly with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, delays, or issues encountered during routes
- Assist with loading and unloading parcels, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage
- Maintain detailed delivery logs, route documentation, and any incident reports as required
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies to promote safe driving practices at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar commercial driving role
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record(MAX 6 POINTS ALLOWED)
- NO CONVICTIONS ON DBS
- Experience with warehouse operations or logistics is advantageous
- Ability to lift heavy parcels safely and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with team members and customers
- Knowledge of local routes, traffic regulations, and safety procedures
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail in previous roles
