Duties
- Monitor access points at the gatehouse, authorizing entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel
- Conduct CCTV surveillance to oversee the perimeter and internal areas, ensuring security protocols are maintained
- Perform regular visual inspections of the gatehouse and surrounding areas to identify potential security risks or breaches
- Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies by following established procedures and coordinating with emergency services if necessary
- Assist with loss prevention efforts by observing suspicious activity and reporting findings according to company policies
- Maintain accurate logs of all access activities, incidents, and patrols to ensure thorough record-keeping
- Provide first aid support when required, offering immediate assistance in case of minor injuries or health concerns
Qualifications
- Proven experience in surveillance, security, or loss prevention roles is highly desirable
- Knowledge of CCTV systems and surveillance techniques to effectively monitor premises
- Ability to remain alert and vigilant during long shifts while maintaining a professional demeanor
- First aid certification or willingness to obtain training upon hiring is preferred
