We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting pharmacists in dispensing medication and providing excellent patient care. Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in accurately dispensing medication to patients
- Prepare prescription orders by counting tablets and labeling bottles
- Maintain proper storage and security conditions for all medications
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, answering questions and addressing concerns
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and effective use of medications
- Perform medication inventory management tasks, including ordering and restocking supplies
Requirements
- Pharmacy Technician certification (Gphc) preferred
- Strong knowledge of medication administration and pharmacy operations
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with pharmacy software systems
