Meadows & Co is expanding both our residential and commercial conveyancing teams and is looking for an Associate who is ready to take the next step in building their practice.
You will manage a varied caseload spanning residential sales, purchases and remortgages, alongside a broad range of commercial property matters, including commercial leases, lease renewals, licences to assign, licences for alterations, refinancing, landlord and tenant work, and general property portfolio management. The role will involve supporting a diverse client base, from first-time buyers to clients engaged in high-value, complex and commercially sensitive transactions. This is a hands-on role with real responsibility, you'll take ownership of files from instruction through to completion, with the support of experienced colleagues who are invested in your development.
Your day-to-day work will involve managing the full property transaction process across a varied caseload of both residential and commercial property matters. Acting as the main point of contact for clients, you will provide clear, practical advice throughout each transaction, build strong relationships, and resolve issues as they arise. You will also ensure every matter is handled efficiently and in line with regulatory requirements, including anti-money laundering obligations, while upholding Meadows & Co's reputation for delivering a thorough, professional service.

Requirements:
Admitted as a solicitor with the SRA in England and Wales
3–5 years of Post-Qualification Experience in residential conveyancing
Strong technical knowledge of residential and commercial property transactions, including contract review, searches, enquiries, and completion procedures
Competence in anti-money laundering compliance and regulatory requirements applicable to property practice
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with proven ability to manage client relationships professionally and clearly
Proficiency with conveyancing software and case management systems (training will be provided on firm-specific systems)
Proactive problem-solving mindset with the ability to work autonomously while seeking guidance where appropriate
Commitment to maintaining professional standards and delivering work to a high standard under deadline pressure
This role is subject to satisfactory completion of SRA checks and Meadows & Co's internal recruitment vetting process.
3–5 years PQE required.
