Duties
- Assist with data entry and maintenance of financial records using accounting software such as CCH, Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks.
- Support accounts payable processes by verifying invoices and processing payments accurately and promptly
- Help prepare and reconcile financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Contribute to month-end closing activities by gathering relevant documentation and supporting audit preparations
- Collaborate with team members to improve data accuracy and streamline accounting workflows
- Maintain organized records of transactions, invoices, and receipts for easy retrieval and audit readiness
Experience
- Strong interest in developing a career in accounting or finance within the financial services industry
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and procedures preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar platforms is a plus
- Experience with data entry, record keeping, or administrative tasks demonstrating attention to detail
