Glow Educate is working with a specialist SEND school in Wiltshire looking for a flexible and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their general cover team.
Rather than being based in one classroom, you'll support pupils across the school, from Reception through to Year 12, stepping into different classes as needed. One day you could be supporting a sensory-based Early Years class, the next helping secondary pupils access a formal curriculum. It's the perfect role for someone who enjoys learning, adapting and making a difference wherever they're needed.
No two days look the same, but you'll always be surrounded by a friendly, experienced and supportive team who will help you settle in.
The role
- Providing classroom, small group and 1:1 support across a range of year groups
- Working with pupils aged Reception to Year 12 with a variety of SEND needs
- Supporting learning, communication, independence and emotional wellbeing
- Adapting quickly to different classrooms, routines and teaching styles
- Building positive relationships with pupils and colleagues across the school
- Helping to create calm, engaging and inclusive learning environments
- Personal care

Previous school experience is helpful, but it's your attitude, willingness to learn and ability to build relationships that will make you successful in this role.
This is a full-time position starting in September, with the opportunity to move from temporary to permanent if that's something you're looking for.
