About the Role
This is not a traditional Executive Assistant role.
An opportunity has arisen to become the trusted right hand to the founder of multiple ambitious businesses and charitable initiatives, helping build exciting brands whilst creating the structure, organisation and momentum that allows ambitious ideas to become reality.
The successful candidate will work across:
The Forge
An innovation and partnerships business connecting ambitious FMCG brands with retailers, corporates and industry leaders.
Nocrudo
An award winning premium non alcoholic drinks brand expanding across hospitality, retail and international markets.
Charitable Initiatives
Community projects designed to create meaningful impact across Norfolk and beyond.
No two days are ever the same.
One day could involve preparing for a retailer meeting in London, coordinating a networking dinner, arranging international travel and booking a photoshoot. Another might involve helping organise a fundraising event, liaising with suppliers, ensuring household contractors are booked, collecting research for a new business idea and making sure everything is in place for the week ahead.
This role is not about waiting to be asked.
It is about spotting what needs doing, taking ownership and making it happen.
Founder Success
Supporting a founder means understanding that business and life do not operate separately.
Success in this role comes from creating the headspace for the founder to focus on growth by ensuring everything else simply works.
The successful candidate will become the person who always knows what is happening next, what has been forgotten and what needs to happen before anyone else has thought about it.
Responsibilities include:
- Staying several steps ahead, anticipating needs before they arise and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
- Managing an ever changing diary across multiple businesses, balancing retailer meetings, partnership meetings, events, travel and personal commitments.
- Planning every week in advance, ensuring meetings, preparation time, travel and personal commitments all work together realistically.
- Booking and coordinating UK and international travel, including flights, hotels, restaurants, transfers and detailed itineraries.
- Preparing for meetings, events and speaking opportunities by ensuring presentations, briefing notes, product samples, business cards and everything required is organised well in advance.
- Acting as a trusted gatekeeper, confidently managing incoming requests, protecting time and ensuring priorities remain focused on the highest value opportunities.
- Coordinating appointments including medical, dental, beauty, fitness, vehicle servicing and property maintenance.
- Making sure the practical details of everyday life are simply sorted, whether that is ensuring the car has fuel before an early start, arranging servicing and MOTs, organising dry cleaning before an event, collecting parcels, arranging deliveries or making sure everything needed for travel is ready.
- Overseeing household administration by coordinating cleaners, gardeners, contractors, maintenance appointments, utilities, deliveries and general property management.
- Researching and arranging everything from restaurants, accommodation and experiences to gifts, suppliers, venues and last minute requests.
- Supporting personal projects such as holidays, celebrations, house events, entertaining and family occasions.
- Keeping track of important dates including birthdays, anniversaries, business milestones, passport renewals, memberships, subscriptions and recurring commitments.
- Creating systems that prevent problems rather than reacting to them, continually improving how both business and personal life are organised.
- Handling unexpected changes calmly and confidently, finding solutions independently and adapting quickly when plans change.
- Bringing calm, organisation and consistency to an environment where priorities move quickly and every day is different.
