Proflax Ltd is an established UK manufacturer of natural pet supplements, based near Newton Abbot in Devon. We are looking for a reliable and conscientious Pick & Pack Operative to join our small team on a part-time basis.
Working Monday to Thursday inclusive, 9.00am – 2.00pm, you will be responsible for accurately picking and packing customer orders ready for dispatch.
The role would suit someone who is organised, methodical and has excellent attention to detail, as accuracy is extremely important when handling customer orders and stock.
Key Responsibilities
* Picking pet supplement products accurately from customer orders
* Packing orders securely and preparing them for dispatch
* Using computer systems to process and check orders
* Printing labels and dispatch documentation
* Checking products, quantities and batch information carefully
* Maintaining an organised and clean packing area
* Assisting with general warehouse and stock duties when required
We are looking for someone who is:
* Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
* Confident using computers and IT systems
* Comfortable learning and using software
* Numerate and able to work accurately with product quantities
* Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
* Able to work independently and methodically
* Physically fit enough to carry out packing and stock-related duties
* A good team player with a positive, practical attitude
Previous pick and pack or warehouse experience would be an advantage, but full training will be provided. However, good IT skills and a high level of accuracy are essential for this role.
This is a permanent, part-time position.
