We are looking for a reliable Kitchen Porter to keep our kitchen running smoothly. You will maintain excellent hygiene standards and support our chefs during busy food service periods.Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all plates, cutlery, and kitchen utensils are clean.
- Operate the commercial dishwasher safely.
- Clean food preparation areas and kitchen equipment.
- Dispose of kitchen waste and recycling correctly.
- Unload food deliveries and store stock away safely.
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation when required.
- Follow all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Requirements
- Strong work ethic and high reliability.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Capacity to lift heavy kitchen items.
- Great teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work fast under pressure.
- Previous kitchen experience is helpful but not required.
Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
