Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Purchasing and Procurement Officer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring the timely acquisition of goods and services, and maintaining optimal inventory levels.
Duties
- Make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Review all venders and suppliers
- Maintain purchase records and other important data
- Develop plans for purchasing services, and supplies
- Ensure that the products and supplies meet quality standards
- Work with team members to complete duties as needed
- Maintain and update a list of suppliers
Requirements
- Experience to negotiate contracts
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage time efficiently
- Excellent communication skills
- Accurate attention to detail
- Goal-oriented, organised team player
- Ability to work well with management and staff at all levels
- A Degree in Purchasing and Logistics, Purchasing and Supply, Business Studies, Supply Chain Management, or Marketing.
- UK graduated preferred.
Pay: £35,400.67-£40,000.00 per year
