Job Summary
We are a fun, family friendly, busy pub that shows sport, has a large garden, darts lounge and 13 hotel rooms above.
We are now looking for Waiting and Bar personnel to join our team. In this role, you’ll serve drinks and food to company standards with enthusiasm, attention to detail to ensure 100% guest satisfaction - as well as have fun.
We have a lot of regular customers due to our welcoming environment, positive attitude and great food & drinks offer.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills while working in a lively, fast-paced setting.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate orders for drinks and food, ensuring timely delivery to guests
- Prepare and serve food and beverages to company specifications
- Maintaining cleanliness and organi
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage cash & credit card transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness of service areas, tables, bar, and dining spaces to uphold hygiene standards
- Communicate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods
- Handle guest enquiries professionally
Requirements
- Previous experience in a pub, hotel or restaurant is preferred but not essential however enthusiasm and willingness to learn is essential
- Fluency in written and verbal English
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable manner
- High standard of personal presentation, grooming and hygiene
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and guests

Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
