A unique opportunity to join our team at Cleeve Day Nursery in Bishops Cleeve from September/October 2026
We are looking for a candidate who would like to gain knowledge and experience and complete their NVQ Level 2 or 3 apprenticeship.
You must have had some experience working in a childcare environment, be enthusiastic, energetic, motivated, professional, willing to complete an NVQ 2 or 3 and be able to work as part of a team.
Main duties consist of:
- Complete NVQ 2 or 3 with a training company.
- Undertaking domestic duties.
- Ensure the care of the children is maintained at all times.
- Support play and engage in children’s learning.
- Adhering to children’s routines.
- To work across with all age groups.
- Have weekly meetings with your mentor to discuss progress.
- Safeguarding and first aid training will be provided.

Full time: (32-40 hours) a week - Monday to Friday
Salary: Higher than the government training allowance
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £8.00-£10.00 per hour
