Overview:
To take responsibility for the setup and effective operation of production machinery, this role plays a key role in ensuring that production targets are met and that all products meet our high-quality standards.
Duties:
· Complete pre-start checks in line with H&S, food safety, SKU and quality requirements prior to commencing production.
· Monitor production schedules and ensure changes to the machine are made promptly.
· Liaising with the Production Supervisor / Line Leader for breaks and changeovers to maximise equipment.
· Monitor outputs, maintain routine checks and report to Line Manager any issues arising.
· Conduct alongside Engineering team Fault diagnosis and problem solving.
· Reporting promptly any maintenance issues to the Engineering Department.
· Ensure production targets and quality standards are consistently achieved.
· Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic working environment.
· Conduct line cleaning to required specifications.
· Conduct a thorough handover during shift finish.
· Train other/new team members when required, (upon achieving the relevant competency).
· Learn other plant and equipment when requested.
· Follow all Health & Safety procedures without exception.

Pay: From £13.60 per hour
Expected hours: 45 – 50 per week
