Summary
We are seeking a Logistics Planner (Vehicle Collections) to join our team in. This role is vital in coordinating vehicle collection logistics, ensuring efficient operations that support our commitment to sustainable vehicle recycling.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule vehicle collection operations to optimize efficiency.
- Manage transportation management systems to track and streamline vehicle logistics.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure vehicle collections.
- Maintain accurate data entry for all logistics activities.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, suppliers, and internal staff.
- Analyze logistical data to identify improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations during vehicle collection.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in transportation management systems and logistics coordination.
- Strong understanding of vehicles to maximise load space.
- Transport Manager CPC qualification
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Pay: From £38,000.00 per year
