Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Larchfield House in Maidenhead. This role is vital in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our residents and staff. The Housekeeping Assistant will contribute to our mission of providing high-quality, compassionate care in a comfortable setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties throughout the facility to ensure high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
- Maintain communal areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, and staff areas.
- Use commercial cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively.
- Support the team with general housekeeping tasks as needed.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff.
- Assist with laundry duties when required.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
- Qualifications
- Experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
- Reliable with a positive attitude.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures related to cleaning.
- Previous experience in healthcare or elderly care environments is advantageous but not essential.
