Senior Support Worker vacancy based in Horspath, Oxfordshire
Maternity Cover – (9-12 months)
Full driving licence is desirable, but not essential for this position
Basic full-time salary circa £30,473 FTE based on 40 hours per week.

We have an exciting opportunity for a committed and motivated Support Worker to step into this role as maternity cover for a period of 9 months, with the possibility of an extension.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills, take on new responsibilities, and progress their career within Kingwood.
Building on your experience as a Support Worker, you will work closely with the Service Manager to help lead and support staff teams, contribute to the smooth running of services, complete a range of administrative tasks, and continue to work creatively and positively alongside the individuals we support.
As a role model, you will help ensure that staff teams work in line with Kingwood’s policies, procedures, systems, and core values, promoting high-quality, person-centred support at all times.
About you
To be considered for this opportunity, you will need:
- At least two years of experience supporting adults with autism and/or learning disabilities.
- A minimum commitment of 40 hours per week, working on a rota basis.
- A genuine passion for supporting autistic adults, including those who may have learning disabilities and mental health needs.
