Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Fitter or Fitter’s Mate to join our installation team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with quartz, granite, porcelain/ultra-compact surfaces, and/or glass splashbacks. This role involves travelling across the UK and staying away when required, working directly in customers’ homes, showrooms, and construction sites.
Job Description
- Install quartz, granite, and porcelain work surfaces to a high standard.
- Install bespoke glass splashbacks, ensuring accuracy and clean finishes.
- Work alongside the templating, manufacturing, and office teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Travel nationwide as required, including overnight stays.
- Maintain a professional attitude in client properties and on building sites.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
Required Experience & Skills
You must meet all of the following:
- Industry experience is essential — stone fitting, solid surface installation, glass fitting, or similar construction-based installation.
- Full UK driver’s licence (required).
- Experience using power tools, lifting equipment, and stone-handling equipment.
- Strong understanding of construction environments and health & safety practices.
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team or independently.
- Good communication skills
Desirable Qualifications
- CSCS card (highly advantageous).
- Experience in kitchen worktop installation specifically.
- Experience working nationwide or on-site fitting roles.
