Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Motor Mechanic to join our Family Owned Dealership! In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Your mechanical expertise will help keep our fleet running smoothly, supporting our commitment to reliable service and customer satisfaction. Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles using schematics and technical manuals to identify issues accurately.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and other mechanical components.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs efficiently.
- Follow detailed schematics and mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot complex problems and execute precise repairs.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used for each vehicle or piece of equipment.
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks safely using appropriate techniques and equipment to handle large parts or assemblies.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair needs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Motor Mechanic or in a similar role with hands-on mechanical knowledge.
- Strong familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools for vehicle systems.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques.
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures for various types of vehicles or machinery.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in accordance with safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues quickly.
- Prior experience in equipment repair or working with heavy-duty vehicles is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
