Applicants are invited to apply for a Teaching Assistant post starting on 1st September 2026. At Jubilee Park Primary School, Level Two teaching assistants are expected to support groups of children, work collaboratively with the class teacher and engage in creative and purposeful planning for learning.

The position will be 34.5 hours a week:
8:30 - 3:30 – Monday, Wednesday, Friday
8:30 - 4:30 – Tuesday, Thursday
We are looking for somebody who:

- Is motivated and able to use their own initiative.
- Is able to demonstrate enthusiasm and and is capable of promoting a positive attitude to children, colleagues and the wider school community.

- Is committed to their own professional learning and development and working in an anti-racist learning organisation.
- Is able to bring passion and energy and be driven to fulfil the role to the best of their ability.
The appointment process will involve an interview with a member of the Leadership Team and a member of the Governing Body.
The Governing Body and Local Authority are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
This position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS).
