Overview
We are looking for a Key Stage 3 - 5 English teacher for a secondary school based in Hounslow. . The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting students' academic and personal development. Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that meet curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning needs.
- Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Create an inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation, curiosity, and respect.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student achievements.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and share best practices.
- Support students’ social and emotional wellbeing by fostering a positive classroom atmosphere.
- Organise extracurricular activities or support programmes that enhance student engagement.
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding student progress and behavioural concerns.
Requirements
- recognised teaching qualification (such as PGCE or equivalent).
- Proven experience in teaching within a similar educational setting is desirable.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Commitment to creating an inclusive environment that respects diversity.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual learners.
- A proactive approach towards professional development and continuous learning.

Pay: £150.00-£200.00 per day
