Duties
- Safely operate company vehicles for local deliveries, ensuring timely arrivals at designated destination.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures or proof of delivery from customers
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and vehicle inspectiom
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met and report any maintenance needs
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies to uphold safety and professionalism at all times
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role, demonstrating reliability and punctuality
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; <PERSON> driver certification preferred
- Experience with commercial driving vehicles and understanding of road safety regulations
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers
- Knowledge of local routes, navigation tools, and traffic patterns for efficient deliveries
