Duties:
- Liaise with dispatch for instructions on daily work schedule
- Pack orders each day ready for dispatch
- Ensure pallets are strapped and properly secured
- Drive Forklift, and carry out duties as required
- Ensure lorries are loaded and unloaded in a safe manner
- Make sure loads match paperwork ( Packing sheets )
- Maintain Health and Safety standards throughout the yard
- Ensure yard is kept tidy, ready for inspection at any time
- Make decisions on loading vehicles, unsafe , overloading etc
- Ensure Quality of lintels dispatched are of highest quality
Company Policies and Procedures including Health & Safety
- Ensure each team member complies with Health and Safety procedures and guidelines in all aspects of their work
- Monitor compliance of your team with Health and Safety guidelines and all company policies and procedures
- Be familiar with company policies relating to absenteeism, bullying, harassment, discrimination and disciplinary procedures and ensure these are adhered to
