We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with both power and hand tools. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of machinery and vehicles, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and vehicles to prevent breakdowns.
- Repair or replace faulty components, including engines, transmissions, and brakes.
- Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively to carry out repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
Requirements
- Level 3 equivalent.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A valid driving licence may be required depending on the role specifics.
- Must have own tools.
