Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
- Take orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring quick and efficient service
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area in accordance with food safety standards and health regulations
- Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, answer questions about drinks or menu items, and create a welcoming environment
- Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities with integrity, including processing payments accurately
- Restock supplies regularly to ensure the bar is well-equipped for busy periods
- Assist in setting up for special events like banquets or catering functions, ensuring smooth operation during high-volume times
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality settings, is highly desirable
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is preferred
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling practices
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math tasks
- Experience in serving alcohol responsibly and understanding of beverage regulations
- Basic understanding of brewing processes or beverage preparation techniques is a plus
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in a dynamic hospitality environment
