Buckland Athletic Football Club is looking for an enthusiastic, organised, and self-motivated Hospitality Supervisor / Assistant to join our growing hospitality team.
This is a varied and hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is willing to get involved in all aspects of hospitality operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising and supporting team members in the kitchen and/or bar.
- Assisting with the day-to-day running of the hospitality department.
- Managing administrative tasks, including ordering from suppliers and stock control.
- Meeting prospective clients and discussing event and function requirements.
- Coordinating and assisting with event planning and management.
- Acting as a key point of contact for hospitality enquiries, customers, and staff.
- Supporting food preparation and service when required.
- Assisting behind the bar during events and matchdays.
- Helping to maintain high standards of customer service, food hygiene, and presentation.

Essential Requirements

- Ability to work evenings and weekends.
Desirable Experience
- Previous hospitality experience.
- Previous bar work experience.
- Previous cooking or food preparation experience.
- Experience supervising or managing a team.
- Knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
