Shifts Available: Days (7:00am – 7:00pm) or Nights (7:00pm – 7:00am)
We are recruiting for experienced CNC Machinists to join a leading engineering and manufacturing business based in Havant.
There are opportunities available for machinists with experience operating either Mazak or Heidenhain controlled machines, working within a precision manufacturing environment producing high-quality components.

The Role
As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting and operating CNC machinery, ensuring components are produced safely, accurately and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set and operate CNC machines using either Mazak or Heidenhain controls
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Read and understand CNC programmes, including ISO G-code / Mazatrol
- Produce precision components to customer and company specifications
- Carry out quality checks throughout the machining process
- Work safely in line with company Health & Safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organised working area using 5S principles
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Assist with problem solving and process improvements where required
About You
The successful CNC Machinist will ideally have:
- Previous CNC machining experience within an engineering/manufacturing environment
- Experience setting and operating Mazak or Heidenhain controlled machines
- Apprentice trained background (preferred)
- Experience with milling and/or turning
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Knowledge of CNC programming (ISO G-code / Mazatrol / Heidenhain)
- Experience working with a range of materials and precision components
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing, 5S and continuous improvement
- Strong attention to detail and a hands-on approach

Weekend Shift: Friday, Saturday and Sunday
Choice of:
- Day Shift: 7:00am – 7:00pm
- Night Shift: 7:00pm – 7:00am
