Leisure King is looking for an experienced, hands-on Marketing Manager to take ownership of our day-to-day marketing.
This is a practical role within a small team. You’ll personally deliver much of the marketing activity, while managing and supporting one part-time marketing team member.
We’re looking for an experienced marketing generalist who can identify priorities, make things happen and work with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver day-to-day marketing campaigns across products, seasons and target sectors.
- Manage Google Ads/PPC, budgets, keywords, targeting and landing pages.
- Monitor SEO, Google Analytics, website traffic, enquiries and conversions.
- Update and improve our WordPress website, including product pages, landing pages and blogs.
- Write engaging marketing copy for web, email, social media and campaigns.
- Plan and create social media content, including photography and video opportunities.
- Create and manage targeted email marketing campaigns.
- Manage and support one part-time marketing team member, allocating work and reviewing output.
- Maintain a consistent and professional brand across digital and printed marketing.
- Monitor marketing performance, including enquiries, cost per lead, bookings and return on investment.
- Provide concise updates and recommendations to the Company Director.
- Research competitors, customer behaviour and new marketing opportunities.
- Support the launch and promotion of new products and services.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong all-round digital marketing experience.
- Practical experience with PPC, SEO, WordPress, social media and email marketing.
- Commercially minded and focused on generating enquiries and bookings.
- Comfortable creating content as well as planning strategy.
- Able to manage priorities and work independently.
- Previous experience managing or supporting another marketing team member would be beneficial.
Experience within events, hospitality, leisure or entertainment would be a significant advantage.
This role would particularly suit an experienced marketer who enjoys the variety and pace of working within a growing SME and wants genuine responsibility without returning to a full-time position.
