Red Rock Partnership are delighted to be working with our prestigious client in Dewsbury who are looking for Production Operators to join their busy team.
About the Business:
Our Client is a company that specialises in the development and manufacture of Chemical Anchoring, repair solutions and anchoring products for the industrial, construction, and DIY sectors.
About The Role:
To assist the team to meet the company goals in a timely and appropriate manner and ensure operational needs are met whenever possible. To support production operations through utilising varied skill set and support other members of the team in achieving their objectives.
This is a temporary position but the role offers an excellent opportunity to transfer to a permanent contract after 12 weeks of work for the right candidates.
The Working hours are Sunday to Thursday on a night shift pattern which will be 10pm to 6am.
You will train on days 8am-4pm (Pay rate of £12.71ph) for approx 2 weeks before your transfer to the night shift
Pay Rates are £16.52ph - £17.47ph.
Overtime is paid at 1.5x over 40 hours a week.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Feeding materials into production machinery
- Conducting quality checks
- Operating production lines / machinery and willingness to learn
- Set up manufacturing equipment
- Ensuring the machinery is running smoothly with no issues
- Operate production line equipment
- Placing labels on boxes, packaging stock, and stacking boxes on pallets on the end of the production line.
- Packing various products which include tubed products into boxes
- Strictly following health and safety guidelines on site
- Ensure the machines are set up correctly so that the product is produced and packaged correctly.
- Full Training will be provided to become a Machine Operator if a potential opportunity comes available, for further development.
About you:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing / operator based environment
- Previous experience working as an operator or running machines / production lines or have the willingness and want to learn
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and in a team setting
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
