Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cluster Financial Controller to oversee financial operations across multiple locations within our organisation. Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and analysis of financial statements for all clusters, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring invoices are processed efficiently and accurately.
- Manage the utilisation of accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other relevant platforms to maintain precise financial records.
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic planning.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, internal policies, and audit requirements across all locations.
- Collaborate with operational teams to optimise financial performance and implement cost-control measures.
- Supervise finance staff within each location, providing guidance and training as necessary.
- Prepare regular financial reports for senior management and stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Conduct internal audits and coordinate external audits to uphold organisational integrity.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in financial management or as a Financial Controller, preferably within a multi-location organisation.
- Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other relevant platforms is essential.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and overall financial operations.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse complex financial data and present insights clearly.
- Relevant professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Previous experience working within a regulated environment or in compliance-related roles is advantageous.
