Come and work for a well-established, family-run uPVC Builders Merchant as a Driver/Warehouse Operative. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic person to join our team in Crewe.
In this varied role, you’ll be the friendly face delivering goods to our customers, as well as playing a key part in keeping our warehouse running smoothly. From safely loading and unloading goods to ensuring orders are accurate and ready on time, you’ll help us maintain the high standards our customers expect.
What will my responsibilities be:
Duties will include (but not limited to):
- Deliveries - driving a Mercedes Sprinter van
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles by hand or with a forklift truck
- Stock replenishment - Handling of deliveries and orders.
- General Warehouse Duties
- Jumping on the counter to serve customers when needed
You will be:
- Able to work efficiently in a busy warehouse environment
- Able to use your initiative
- Enthusiastic and willing to learn
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Able to learn a wide product range
- In possession of a full valid Driving Licence.
Promotional opportunities are also available within the company to the successful applicant.
The Details
Must be available to work on alternate Saturday mornings (8 a.m.- midday) once fully trained. Normal working hours are Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Salary of £31,724.68 includes Saturday working.
Bonus scheme would give potential for increased earning on top of the basic salary offered.
