We are looking for 21 Hour Part Time Member of staff for a hair and beauty trade store and adjoining training academy. Applicant will be comfortable to deliver to salons across Leeds & Bradford and surrounding areas & leaflet drop.
Applicant must be willing to cover holidays & sick days.
Hair and Beauty/Sales experience desirable but not needed. This job consists of delivering and flyering to local salons.

Overall Job Purpose
The Sales Assistant is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operation of the trade store while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining high store standards.
The role focuses on assisting customers, promoting products and services, maintaining stock and merchandising standards, and contributing to the achievement of store sales targets. Sales Assistants are expected to demonstrate strong product knowledge and represent the company’s mission and values in all customer interactions.
The role may also include delivering products to local salons and trade customers using a company vehicle or approved private vehicle where required.
Key Responsibilities
Business & Sales
· Support the store in achieving sales targets and business objectives.
· Maintain strong knowledge of current product promotions, incentives, and marketing campaigns.
· Develop and maintain good product knowledge across all ranges through regular training and development.
· Actively promote all products, including encouraging conversions to company own-brand products.
· Promote all areas of the business including the Training Academy, special events, and promotional activities.
· Identify opportunities to increase sales by recommending suitable products to customers.
· Support the Store Manager and Supervisor in delivering the Store Action Plan and in-store sales initiatives.
Customer Experience
· Deliver excellent customer service at all times to trade customers.
· Welcome and greet customers as they enter the store, offering assistance where required.
· Ensure customer needs are understood and met with professional product advice.
· Maintain a helpful, friendly, and professional approach that reflects the company’s brand and reputation.
· Support the delivery of a high standard of customer experience across all areas of the store.
· Demonstrate and uphold the Adel Professional Mission Statement and Values in all interactions.
· Maintain strong relationships with local salons and trade customers to support repeat business.
Operational Responsibilities
· Follow all company policies and procedures as outlined in the Staff Handbook and Operations Manual.
· Accurately handle cash and card transactions in line with company procedures.
· Assist with receiving deliveries, checking stock, and processing goods into the stock system.
· Maintain merchandising standards, ensuring shelves, displays, and stock areas are clean, organised, and well presented.
· Ensure stock rotation is carried out and products are correctly coded and priced.
· Support stock management to ensure strong product availability and shelf presence.
· Maintain high standards of housekeeping and cleanliness throughout the store.
· Communicate any operational issues or development needs to the Store Manager or Supervisor.
Delivery Responsibilities
· Deliver orders to local salons and trade customers using a company van or approved private vehicle when required.
· Ensure deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and in a professional manner that reflects the company’s standards.
· Verify delivery orders and ensure products are correct before leaving the store.
· Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures.
· Collect all monies due if not collected by the store.
· Ensure company vehicles are used responsibly and kept clean and presentable.
· Follow all road safety and company driving policies when undertaking deliveries.
Additional Responsibilities
· Be flexible in working hours when required to support store operations.
· Provide cover for local stores when required by the company.
· Carry out additional duties as reasonably requested by the Store Manager.
