Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced CQC Registered Manager to lead and oversee the operational and clinical standards within a care home setting. As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of exceptional senior care services, including assisted living, nursing, dementia, and Alzheimer's care. Your leadership will foster a compassionate environment where residents receive personalized care plans tailored to their individual needs. You will ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, promote staff development, and uphold the highest standards of quality and safety. Duties
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring compliance with CQC (Care Quality Commission) standards and regulations.
- Develop, implement, and regularly review personalized care plans for residents, including those with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease.
- Supervise and support a team of care staff, including recruitment, training, performance management, and fostering a positive team culture.
- Oversee medication administration processes to ensure safe and accurate delivery of prescribed treatments.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to resident care, staff rotas, incident reports, and regulatory compliance records.
- Conduct regular audits of care practices, health & safety procedures, and quality assurance measures to uphold high standards of service.
- Promote a person-centered approach to care that emphasizes dignity, independence, and well-being for all residents.
Skills
- Proven experience in assisted living or nursing home environments with strong knowledge of senior care practices.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with previous management or supervising experience in a care home setting.
- In-depth understanding of dementia and Alzheimer’s care techniques and best practices.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to CQC registration and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with residents, families, staff, and external agencies.
- Ability to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to individual needs while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.

Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
