Poultry Stockperson Required
K Fresh - A Pullet Rearing, Egg Producing & Packing company are looking for someone to join their poultry team!
Full time or Part time position (Monday-Friday)- Some flexibility with working hours possible
This is a hands on role which requires self motivation, a good work ethic, attention to detail & professionalism
Duties & Responsibilities
* Day to day welfare inspections & record keeping (daily checks & paperwork)
* Laying House supervision (controlling the egg collection systems & daily egg collection)
* Site hygiene & maintenance (Daily/Weekly cleaning shedules & maintenence of equipment)
The role involves working at a new Free Range Egg Laying Unit. The successful candidate must be able to work independently at times but also as part of a bigger team during busy periods. Good communication skills & organisation is also important. Previous experience preferable but not essential - someone with a desire to work with poultry is more crucial
Job Types: Full-time/Part-time, Permanent (30-45 hours, 3-5 days per week)
Salary: £14.50 per hour + bonus scheme
