Nyton House is a family-run independent Care Home serving the Chichester community for over 40 years. We are looking to recruit a housekeeper to deliver professional domestic standards within the home. As part of the housekeeping team, you will play an essential role in ensuring that the home environment maintains the highest standards of cleanliness.
Responsibilities:
- To complete cleaning of all areas within the home
- Ensure proper handling and storage of COSHH
- Ability to follow guidance and and understand daily tasks
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of supplies
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines
- To cover our laundry service during staff absence
- To create a warm and friendly atmosphere within the home
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a care home or hotel setting is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to use inituitive
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks
- Good communication skills to work effectively with residents, team members and supervisors
