Healthcare Assistant

We are currently recruiting compassionate and experienced Healthcare Assistants to provide 2:1 support for individuals within the TQ12 area.
This rewarding role involves supporting adults with a range of complex needs, including challenging behaviour, epilepsy, and autism. Every individual is different, so you'll be providing person-centred care tailored to each person's specific needs.
Shift Patterns
Shifts vary and may include:

9:00am – 5:00pm
-
12:00pm – 5:00pm
-
5:00pm – 10:00pm
-
Sleep-in shifts will also be required
Duties Include
-
Providing high-quality 2:1 care and support
-
Supporting individuals with daily living activities
-
Managing and responding appropriately to challenging behaviours
-
Supporting individuals with epilepsy in line with care plans and training
-
Promoting independence, dignity and choice

Completing accurate care documentation
-
Working closely with the wider care team to ensure safe, person-centred support
Requirements
-
Previous experience working as a Healthcare Assistant or Support Worker

Care Certificate (essential) Manual Handling, Safeguarding, Medication, First Aid

Up-to-date mandatory training
-
Enhanced Adult DBS registered and in date
-
Experience supporting individuals with challenging behaviour, epilepsy and autism is desirable
