We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Chef de Partie to join our brand new dynamic culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in designated sections of the kitchen, maintaining consistency and quality.
- Assist in the development and execution of menu items, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards.
- Supervise junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed to uphold hygiene and safety protocols.
- Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and ensure ingredients are stored correctly to minimise waste.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within your section, complying with food safety regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with the head chef and other team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service periods.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared in accordance with health and safety standards, including allergen management.
Experience
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a busy restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, meal preparation, and food safety standards.
- Experience working in a professional kitchen environment with familiarity in various cooking methods.
- Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, along with serving skills that support excellent customer service.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Pay: £16.00 per hour
