Field Operations & Cleaning Supervisor
Manor Avenue Cleaning Ltd – Manchester
We are looking for a highly organised, reliable and confident Field Operations & Cleaning Supervisor to support the day-to-day running of our growing cleaning company across Manchester.
This is a hands-on, mobile role involving staff management, key collection and return, stock distribution, travelling between properties and maintaining close communication with the company owner.
The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring our cleaning teams are where they need to be, have the correct equipment and products, and that jobs run smoothly throughout the day.
Important – Driving Is Mandatory
You MUST hold a full UK driving licence and have your own reliable vehicle.
This is an essential requirement of the position as you will be travelling between estate agents, properties, our storage unit and cleaning teams throughout Manchester.

Main Responsibilities
- Managing and coordinating multiple cleaners throughout the working day
- Ensuring cleaners arrive at the correct properties and understand their job requirements
- Communicating daily schedules, changes and instructions clearly to staff
- Collecting property keys from estate agents, usually in the morning
- Ensuring keys are safely returned to estate agents before their closing times, generally before 4:30pm
- Travelling between estate agents, residential properties and other locations across Manchester
- Visiting our storage unit to collect cleaning products, equipment and supplies
- Transporting cleaning buckets, products and equipment in your vehicle to different properties throughout the week
- Distributing cleaning products and equipment to members of the cleaning team
- Monitoring cleaning product and equipment stock and informing the owner when items need replacing
- Helping organise cleaners when there are schedule changes, cancellations or last-minute jobs
- Checking that staff are following company procedures and maintaining high cleaning standards
- Carrying out occasional property checks and reporting any issues
- Taking and sending photographs or updates when required
- Handling property keys responsibly and maintaining strict key security at all times
- Acting professionally when dealing with estate agents, property managers, landlords and clients
- Reporting staff issues, property problems or client concerns promptly
- Maintaining regular and clear communication with the company owner throughout the day
- Helping the owner ensure the daily operation of the business runs smoothly and efficiently

- Physically able to carry cleaning buckets, products and equipment between their vehicle and properties
- Comfortable using WhatsApp, phone calls, maps/navigation and basic mobile applications
- Able to keep accurate records of keys, jobs, staff and equipment when required
- Someone who takes initiative rather than waiting to be told what to do
Working Hours
The role will generally operate Monday to Friday, approximately 8:00am–3:30pm, although some flexibility may occasionally be required depending on property access, key returns and the needs of the business.
This is not a desk-based role. You will spend a significant amount of your working day travelling around Manchester and coordinating our teams on the road.

We specialise in services including end-of-tenancy cleaning, deep cleaning, residential cleaning, carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning and property preparation.
We are looking for someone who wants to become an important part of the company and take genuine responsibility for helping us manage our growing team and workload.

Pay: £475.00 per week
