We’re Hiring – Breakfast & Brunch Chef

We’re looking for a Breakfast & Brunch Chef to join us at Ground in the Park in Beech Hurst Gardens, Haywards Heath.
This isn’t a fine dining kitchen. It’s a community café where people come to catch up with friends, walk the dog, celebrate birthdays, grab their morning coffee or simply enjoy a really good breakfast. We want someone who cares about the food they send out just as much as we do.
You’ll be:
● Preparing and cooking our breakfast and brunch menu to a consistently high standard.
● Keeping the kitchen organised, clean and running smoothly.
● Helping with daily prep and keeping wastage to a minimum.
● Bringing ideas for specials and seasonal dishes.
● Working alongside a friendly front of house team to give every customer a great experience.
We’re looking for someone who:
● Has previous kitchen experience (breakfast/brunch experience is a bonus).
● Stays calm when it gets busy.
● Takes pride in presentation and consistency.
● Is reliable, hardworking and enjoys being part of a team.
● Has a genuine passion for fresh, simple food done really well.
