Ruthin Castle, a beautiful historic hotel set in the heart of North Wales, is looking for a passionate and dedicated Bartender to join our team. Role Overview:
As a Bartender at Ruthin Castle, you'll play a vital role in providing excellent customer service by preparing and serving beverages to our guests. You'll work alongside a friendly, dynamic team, ensuring that each guest feels welcome and has a fantastic experience. You will also be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, inventory management, and ensuring the bar area is fully stocked.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and ensuring they have everything they need
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including cleaning glassware and equipment
- Manage inventory and assist with stock replenishment as needed
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
- Handle cash and process payments
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the bar
- Ensure all guest complaints or concerns are addressed promptly and professionally
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience working as a bartender or in a customer-facing role (desirable)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- A strong focus on customer satisfaction
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Must be 18 or over
