Shine is one of the leading Sports Coaching and Wraparound Care companies in the Bristol region. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about having a positive impact on primary school children through the medium of sports and creative activities.
Our dedicated teams comprise of experienced coaches who inspire and motivate children of all abilities and ages to excel.
We are seeking a committed and compassionate 1:1 Mentor to provide tailored support to 1-5 individuals across the week (term-time), on a one‑to‑one basis. This role focuses on building trusted relationships, promoting confidence, and helping children overcome barriers to engagement.
We are looking for candidates who are confident in promoting an inclusive environment for primary-aged children through the medium of sports, arts, and play activities. Working with children who have a range of needs, the ideal candidates will have experience coaching sports or leading activities, as well as supporting children with SEMH and SEND. The successful candidates will need to be organised and enthusiastic with the ability to communicate and interact with both children and parents in an approachable and professional manner.
Travel around Bristol will be required as the successful candidates will not be based in a single setting each day, although weekly routines will be fairly consistent.
