Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Pickup Truck Driver to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting plant equipment across the country, following a daily schedule. You will ensure deliveries are completed on time while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and safety.

- Driving License required.
- Forklift and telehandler experience preferred.
- Rate of pay is negligible depending on experience.
- Overtime is available
Duties
- Operate a flatbed pickup truck to transport plant equipment to designated locations
- Use tachographs
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals
- Load and unload safely in our yard
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working order
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and safety regulations during operations
Requirements
- Valid driving licence
- Experience with tachographs
- Familiarity with flatbed trucks and safe loading practices
- Ability to navigate using GPS or maps effectively
- Excellent time management skills with a focus on punctuality
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to commercial driving and cargo handling
Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
