Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Paraplanner who is as a minimum Level 4 Diploma qualified in Financial planning, to join our financial services team with offices in Stamford & Uppingham.
The successful candidate will need to have had at least 2 years of paraplanning experience.
You will play an important role in supporting financial advisers by preparing reports, analysing client data, and assisting with the implementation of financial plans. The role requires strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of financial services.
Duties
Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation to support financial planning processes.
Analyse client data and financial information to assist in developing tailored financial strategies.
Assist with the preparation of client presentations and review documents.
Maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Support the team with administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings and managing client correspondence.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies during all activities.
Collaborate with advisers to gather necessary information and ensure timely delivery of services.
Contribute to continuous improvement of processes through organisational skills and attention to detail.
Qualifications
Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning as a minimum (or equivalent)
2 years proven experience in report writing, analysis skills, and administrative roles within financial services or related fields.
Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook; familiarity with IT systems is essential.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with an emphasis on customer service.
Knowledge of financial planning principles and experience working within the financial services industry is highly desirable.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy.
