Hours: Monday to Friday, 12:00 – 20:00 (Minimum 40 hours per week)

Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a dedicated and hardworking Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our team.

The Role
This is a hands-on, varied role within our busy warehouse operation. You will play a key part in ensuring freight is handled safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading palletised freight onto/from HGV vehicles
- Operating a forklift truck safely and efficiently
- Working to tight schedules in a fast-paced distribution environment
- Checking goods in and out against delivery notes
- Ensuring correct placement and storage of goods within the warehouse
- Securing loads to ensure safe transport
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment
- Supporting general warehouse duties as required
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A valid, in-date Forklift Truck (FLT) licence (Counterbalance essential)
- Proven experience loading and unloading palletised freight onto HGVs
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience
- Strong awareness of health & safety practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
- Good level of physical fitness (manual handling involved)
- Excellent attention to detail
Desirable Skills
- Experience working within a haulage, transport, or distribution company
- Knowledge of freight handling and pallet networks
- Basic IT or scanning system experience
- Flexible, proactive attitude with a willingness to help across the operation
- The ability to communicate in a professional and efficient manner
